Construction & Compatibility Details

Materials & Construction
We mold each yukon tool box organizer from industrial-grade polypropylene that withstands the punishment of job sites and cross-country hauls. The material resists cracking in sub-zero temperatures and won’t warp under summer heat—critical for truck bed installations in variable climates.
Reinforced corner gussets add torsional rigidity, so the tray maintains its shape even when fully loaded with heavy hand tools. The textured base features a grid of anti-slip nibs that grip the bottom of your tool box without adhesives or fasteners.

Compatibility & Sizing
This organizer drops directly into any Yukon 46-inch tool box and larger models without modification. We engineered the 22-inch length and 14-inch width to maximize coverage in our standard truck bed boxes while leaving clearance for drill cases and power tool batteries.
For side-mount installations, the tray fits snugly in the main cavity of our Yukon tool box side locker when placed diagonally. Measure your tool box interior before ordering: you’ll need at least 22.5 inches of usable length and 14.5 inches of width to accommodate the organizer’s outer flanges.
Tool Slot Layout
Wrench & Ratchet Slots
The left side of the yukon tool box organizer features twelve graduated slots sized from 1/4-inch to 1-inch combination wrenches. Each slot is laser-etched with size markings, so you can return tools to their homes without trial and error. A dedicated ratchet cradle in the upper left corner secures one standard-length flex-head ratchet.
Socket Rails & Screwdriver Bank
The removable center rail accommodates up to twenty sockets across three drive sizes. Spring-loaded clips hold sockets firmly but release with a gentle tug. The right side houses eight screwdriver slots—four for flatheads and four for Phillips—plus two wider slots for stubby or specialty drivers.

Questions About the Yukon Tool Box Organizer
The organizer is engineered specifically for Yukon tool box interiors, but it will fit any truck bed box or chest with at least 22.5 inches of usable length and 14.5 inches of width. Measure your tool box interior dimensions before ordering.
The textured base grips most powder-coated and bare aluminum surfaces without fasteners. If your tool box has a smooth painted finish, you may want to secure the organizer with self-tapping screws through the corner mounting tabs.
Yes, the center socket rail lifts out completely. The organizer base includes shallow recesses where the rail sits, so when you remove it, you’ll have an open tray area approximately 10 inches long and 3 inches wide.
Many customers use this space for tape measures, marking tools, or small flashlights. The rail reinstalls in seconds—no tools required—so you can swap configurations as your kit changes.
Remove the organizer from your tool box and spray it with brake cleaner, degreaser, or simple dish soap and water. The polypropylene material is chemically resistant and won’t absorb fluids like foam inserts do.
For stubborn grime, scrub with a stiff brush and rinse with a hose. Air-dry or towel off before reloading tools to prevent water spots on chrome. Avoid acetone or harsh solvents that can dull the surface finish over time.
No, the organizer ships empty—tools are not included. It’s designed to hold your existing wrench sets, sockets, ratchets, and screwdrivers in organized slots.
We laser-etch size markings on the wrench slots to help you arrange tools logically. The socket rail accepts standard 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/2-inch drive sockets from any manufacturer.
Yes, if your tool box has at least 6 inches of interior depth. The organizer measures 2.5 inches tall, and the lip design allows a second tray to nest on top with about half an inch of clearance between layers.
This stacking setup works well for separating metric and SAE tool sets or dedicating one level to electrical tools and another to mechanical. Both trays remain easily accessible—just lift the top organizer out when you need the lower set.
The socket rail supports up to 15 pounds of sockets without bending or sagging. That’s enough for a full 20-piece socket set in 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch, and 1/2-inch drives combined.
Each spring-loaded clip is rated for sockets weighing up to 12 ounces. If a clip loses tension over time, replacement rail modules are available through our accessories page—the entire rail swaps out in under a minute.
The textured base features anti-slip nibs that grip powder-coated and aluminum surfaces firmly. In normal driving conditions and paved roads, the organizer stays put without fasteners.
If you frequently drive on rough terrain or unpaved job sites, you can secure the tray with two self-tapping screws through the corner mounting tabs. Fasteners are not included, but any #10 sheet metal screw works perfectly.
